An e-rickshaw gearbox—commonly integrated directly with the rear axle as a differential gearbox —is the mechanical transmission unit responsible for adapting power from a high-speed Brushless DC (BLDC) motor into the high-torque output needed to carry heavy passenger or cargo loads.Power travels from the centrally mounted or axle-mounted motor into the input spline. The internal pinion drives the spinning outer ring gear, which shifts the longitudinal torque across a 90-degree axis directly onto the transverse rear axle shafts.
